Where are these monuments to be found?

They are all in the Emerald Isle. Some of them are clearly visible or well signposted. Some of them are part of tourist itineraries. Some other are well hidden, badly or not signposted at all and far from any beaten path.

With a lot of patience it is possible to find these ones too and the satisfaction coming from it will be much greater.
The concentration of monuments isn’t the same all over the country. For some reasons certain areas are richer in megalithic tombs than others, and certain counties seem to be forgotten by the history. Generally speaking, it seems that the Midlands have fewer monuments than all the others.
This website can be browsed by several criteria, and if you browse the monuments by County, you’ll see that the Midlands counties are less or at all represented.
If you want a visual check of this, you could visit the Multimap page from the menu and you'll see that some area are less populated by the markers.
