WHY
People think that I am crazy, because with all the sun, good weather, the tasty food and all that we have here in Italy, I always spend my holidays in a wet and sad place like Ireland. But the call from the stones is strong and I can't ignore it. After many trips among the stones, the churches and the castle I felt that I had to gather all the information and the photos that I had in an easy to browse website. This way other people interested in the same subject could retrieve the information they need for planning a trip of their own, or they could just travel to these far places without leaving home.
In a more selfish point of view, this website is a handy way to keep trace of all the monuments I visited and to browse the photos and the notes without taking all the papers out of the drawer. While I was filling the pages, I recalled moments and places I had almost forgotten. I think it’s been a useful job. More I realized of some mistakes I did during those visits and so this is a good way to learn the lesson and do better in the future.
Why in English? Though I'm Italian I thought that a website written in English could have a wider diffusion and a higher chance of being understood by as many people as possible.
