On the other side of the town from the Ferns castle, there is the Ferns Cathedral in which churchyard there are three crosses.
They are plain crosses, with no important decorations.
The first one is 2.60 metres tall, 1.20 metres wide and 30 centimetres thick, and the face is aligned west (264°).
The second cross is 27 metres north-northeast (12°) from the first one, it's 2.40 metres tall, 1.20 metres wide and 30-35 centimetres thick, and its face is aligned west (260°).
The third cross is 50 metres northeast (50°) from the second one, it's 3.05 metres tall, 1.50 metres wide and 25-30 centimetres thick. Its face is aligned southwest (240°).
The coordinates for this page refer to the first cross, the one at the entrance of the cathedral grounds.
